It's normal to have a bit of curiosity about one's new form, right? That's to be expected. But one of their new companions here... One of them has been causing Pokemon to whisper left and right about how odd he is, how hyperfocused, how intensely into it all he seems to be. To be perfectly honest, to someone like Ribombee, it sounds... absolutely grating!
But at the same time, he heard that this little doggy has been hard at work everywhere he goes! Helping at the clinic, practicing his moves, and all while dealing with his own symptoms? It's too perfect to pass up! He sounds like the ideal fit, and Ribombee knows that if he doesn't move quickly, then that pesky Mightyena is going to trot right in, wagging her tail and swooping up this useful newbie! So, it's right after a shift at the clinic that Ribombee quite literally divebombs Laios, wings fluttering quickly as he moves right, and left, and right again, and center, all to watch those eyes track his movements.
"I've heard you've been quite the help around the clinic!" Memory issues of who needed what aside, it's a lot to deal with for anyone, let alone an entirely new Pokemon to the city! Ribombee smiles, fluttering around Laios to... land right atop his head, little bug hands gripping onto his ears as he leans in from the top. The strategy here? If he keeps buzzy busy himself, then there's no room for oddities, of course!
"The Cheri Berries would love to have a Pokemon like you in our ranks. Would you join my guild?"
From there, he's a little subtly pushy about it, going over all the benefits and barely allowing Laios any room to talk. There's too much work to be done, after all! Doesn't he want to follow him back to the housing? Take a look for himself? Meet some others? They have soooo many members of so many types, and from up in the trees, he can see all across Bottlecap Bay, it'll be great!
Just like that, Ribombee... invites(?)... forces(?)... Laios into the guild! Welcome! Get comfy, grab a snack, and let's get to helping everyone!
